Farewell Guernsey

The sun shone and the sky was blue and the sea sparkled.  I walked along the beach before going to the airport.  The beach was certainly a place dog walkers exercised their dogs.  Several ladies went swimming. One lesson I learnt when I got back to the UK - shops do not like Guernsey currency even a five pound note was looked at suspiciously.  I had carefully spent the one pound notes as I was sure they would not be welcome.
