Buxton River Wye Weir

It was late when we arrived and the trees along the river looked amazing in the late sun.  We met some photographers caring long lenses one of them wet and muddy from attempting to get in a better position to photograph a Kingfisher. We had landscape lenses so not a hope if it urned up again. Another walker said he had just seen a Heron fishing on the edge of the waterfall but it did not appear for us in the fast dimming light.
