Rosie Lambing at Churncote Farm Shropshire

Rosie was having a break from swotting for her finals, a fourth-year student from Harper-Adams however, she was putting into practice some amazing skills and had the confidence of her Ewe in delivering her triplets. It was Rosie and I who had the cup of tea after the delivery not the Ewe! I admired her passion and the care she took with the animals and I hope to meet up with her in a couple of days, when she will be back on-duty in the lambing shed.  I had only gone to the farm-shop for provisions and my iPhone was all I had to hand......

Today, I called into my favourite farm shop Churncote Farm and asked Mr. Clark if any new furry friends had arrived. I was permitted entry to the lambing shed to find newly born triplets that were having a little help with a colostrum drink under the supervision of the ewe.  There were also four other ewes with lambs. With much excitement I grabbed my camera from the car......

Anglesey Abbey

I returned to Anglesey Abbey with a 100 macro with an extension ring and despite the wind managed to capture Helleborine, Croci and Snowdrops.

On the way home, I decided to call into Anglesey Abbey where I found an abundance of snowdrops. There was only one problem, I only had the 85mm prime lens, so I will have to return!

At last I have a replacement camera! There is lots of ice here to chill the Champagne!
