Brienzersee

It was a hot day and people dealt with the heat in different ways. Others needed to recharged their batteries using solar or electricity.

Lake Brienz is a lake just north of the Alps, in the Canton of Berne in Switzerland. It has a length of about 14 kilometres, a width of 2.8 kilometres and a maximum depth of 260 metres.  The best way to get to Interlaken was by train where we picked up the boat. Our outward boat was a steamer. Along the shoreline there was a woodcarving event.  Chain-saws,  chisels and mallets were the order of the day.
