Peregrine Chicks Growing Fast

The chicks are growing fast and one has already accidentally left the nest  before time.  It was quickly rescued wrapped up in a blanket and transferred to a special box from the raptor centre where it was taken. The chick is fine and apart from the shock of an early descent has lived to tell the tale. The mortality for Peregrine chicks is 60%
The other two chicks are exercising their wings and legs and bouncing up and down on the edge of the ledge. The weather has changed and after a lot of rain and wind the ledge was obviously wet as the chicks appeared to be drying out.
